  16. Good morning everyone.Sorry about the first post, the news service
  17. reformatted my posting, then denied my canceling the post.Anyway...I am
  18. getting a "Permission Denied" message with a Kermit xfer using Windows.What
  19. am I doing wrong?I have 2 computers that have Kermit 95 version 1117
  20. installed on them.Computer A~~~~~~~~~Windows 95  PC  - dial USR modem  
  21. - when connected, do:  get /tmp/file.out /tmp/file.out- hangup the
  22. connectionComputer B~~~~~~~~~Windows 98 PC- Kermit running in server
  23. mode on COM1 ( modem port )I am writing a polling program.Computer B's
  24. code is as following: set carrier off  set line com1 set baud 57600 set
  25. block 3 set send pack 256 set rec pack 256 set window 10 serverComputer
  26. A dials to computer B ( both are using USR modems )Computer A does a "get" 
  27. file xfer  from Computer B to Computer A.Computer A disconnects with the
  28. "hangup" command.The first time is successful.Computer A dials and
  29. connects to computer B.Computer A does a "get" file xfer  from Computer B to
  30. Computer A.Computer A returns a Permission Denied message and cannot xfer
  31. the file.  The value \v(xfermsg) is "Permission Denied".Now both of these
  32. computers are Windows; not UNIX.Computer A has the setting "SET FILE
  33. COLLISION OVERWRITE".What could I be doing to get a "permissions" message?
